!OBIT:Turner, Ralph PEE DEE -- Mr. Ralph Turner, 85, widower of Sarah Perritt Turner, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at Shiloh United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Alvin Shifflett officiating. Entombment will follow in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Smith-Collins Funeral Home. Mr. Turner was born Dec. 31, 1917, in Marion County, a son of the late Canty Mac Turner and the late Fleetie Turner Turner. Mr. Turner was a retired merchant and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Surviving Mr. Turner are five sons, Ralph Turner Jr. and his wife Mary Ann of Marion, Richard Martin Turner and his wife Janet of Florence, Frank Turner of Pee Dee, C.M. Turner of Pee Dee and H. Thomas Turner and his wife Susan of Florence; four daughters, Agnes Legg of Thomasville, N.C., Lillian Wise of Florence, Gail Johnson and her husband Bernie of Rains and Ida Mae Wilcox and her husband Don of Florence; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two brothers, F.C. "Sonny" Turner of Darlington and Earl Turner of Florence; and three sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Rogers of Darlington, Gladys Andrews of Wilmington, N.C. and Margaret Ramier of Tallysville, Fla. Mr. Turner was predeceased by three brothers, Roy Turner, Cecil Turner and Grady Turner. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church, 3903 W. Highway 76, Marion, SC 29571. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Smith-Collins Funeral Home. submitted by Helen Lane Wiggins
