On 1 Oct 1798 Christophel Smith made his Last Will & Testament and shortly after died ...
His will was recorded in the Rockingham Co., VA. His wife Lucenia and friend John Early, execs.
The testator left six children:
Jacob, John & Daniel Smith
Christiana Caty married to George Gatty,
Eve married to Jacob Hale
Mary married Martin Burk?.
Wife of Testator died.
John Early moved out of commonwealth neglecting to perform his duties as exec.
Jacob Smith is dead.
George Gathy or Caty departed this life before his wife Christiana Caty or Gathy that she is now dead and he has adm her estate
Henry Smith departed this life many years ago (say 20)
