Smith Genealogy - Carter and Johnson County, Tennessee

My Smith lineage begins with Celia Smith (1794-1885) who married Charles Noden George 1816 in Carter Co., TN where she was born. She is a daughter of Jacob Smith (c1766-1823) and Mary Dugger. Jacob is a son of Edward Smith (c1720-1807) who was in Carter Co., TN by the 1780's at least. Edward's parents are unknown.
Since this is such a very common name my interest in it is strictly limited to Carter Co., TN and neighboring Johnson Co., TN.
