First I desire that my executor and family bury me in a plain & decent manner by the side of my wife in what is now called the Miller Grave Yard & my executor pay all my lawful debts that I may owe at my decease from the money on hand. U.S. Veteran

Henry F. Grant, 99, of Robbinsville went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 1st, 2012 at his residence. Henry was the son of the late Robert and Josie Williams Grant. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Ruth Marcus Grant and his second wife Reba Buchanan Grant; his Brothers Mack, Arthur and Robert Grant; Sisters Delia Thompson, Iva Beasley, Ethel Horney, and Mary Murphy. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Henry was a Veteran of World War II where he was engaged in the battle of Normandy. He was also in battles and campaigns in Rhineland, Northern France, Ardenned, and Central Europe. He received the EAMET Campaign Medal with Five Bronze Service Stars and a Certificate of Merit. After serving his Country for three years, Henry returned home and began work for the Aluminum Company of America. He spent the next 42 years working as a mechanic for the Tapoco Inc. division of ALCOA before retiring. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday July 5th, 2012 at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 till 7:00 pm, Thursday at the Chapel prior to the service. The Reverend Jimmy Millsaps will officiate. Committal services will be Friday July 6th, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Lower Yellow Creek Cemetery where Flag Presentation and Military Rites will be conducted by Carringer Webster VFW Post 8635 and Eller Rogers American Legion Post 192. CAMPBELL, son of Gadi, never married; he died or was killed in the war. Theophilus CAMPBELL, son of Gadi, married Emma HUGGINS; he is dead; left his widow, two sons and four daughters. Of the daughters, Louisa married a Mr. PROCTOR; he died and left her with two children; she is in Washington-whether married again, the writer know not. Dora, the next daughter, married T.W. SELLERS, the nephew of the writer; she died, and left two children, daughters (small). Etta, the next daughter, is also in Washington, D.C.; said to be married, but to whom is not known. Maggie, the youngest, is unmarried, perhaps not grown. Of the two sons, Iverson and Theo, they are with their mother; neither one of them is grown.";

CHRIETZBERG dying, the widow married Daniel MARTIN, of Mullins; no children by her MARTIN marriage. Lila GAME is unmarried. Of the sons of Gadi CAMPBELL, Warren W. died a young single man, just as he was preparing to enter as a minister in the South Carolina Confernece (Methodist). Charles Fletcher CAMPBELL, son of Gadi, never married; he joined the South Carolian Confernece in1 859, and died in 1860, at the age of twenty-seven. Benjamin F. CAMPBELL, son of Gadi, never married; he died or was killed in the war. Theophilus CAMPBELL, son of Gadi, married Emma HUGGINS; he is dead; left his widow, two sons and four daughters. Of the daughters, Louisa married a Mr. PROCTOR; he died and left her with two children; she is in Washington-whether married again, the writer know not. Dora, the next daughter, married T.W. SELLERS, the nephew of the writer; she died, and left two children, daughters (small). Etta, the next daughter, is also in Washington, D.C.; said to be married, but to whom is not known. Maggie, the youngest, is unmarried, perhaps not grown. Of the two sons, Iverson and Theo, they are with their mother; neither one of them is grown.";
