"I was married under my name of Margaret ANDERSON to my said husband by Rev Thomas M. HUGHES on or about the 8th day of September A.D. 1870 at Coosa, in the State of Georgia, and lived with my said husband from the date of my said marriage until the day of his death, to wit: the 13th day of October, A.D. 1879, when my said husband died at Huerfano in the State of Colorado" also "That I am 68 years of age, and that I was born on or about the 24th day of November A.D. 1824 at Rabun, in the State of Georgia.;

But that Samuel PATTERSON her late husband, was formerly married to Jane MOORE who died about the year 1866 in Cherokee County, Georgia";

And affiant was likewise well acquanted with Jane PATTERSON who was the former wife of Samuel PATTERSON, decd. That the affiant was personally well acquainted with the said Jane PATTERSON for 15 years and that the said Jane PATTERSON died in the County of Cherokee, State of Georgia, on or about the 20th day of January 1867. That the affiant obtained the knowledge of said death by having been present at the time of the sickness and death of the said Jane PATTERSON and waited on her during her sickness until her said death.";
