- Sarah Crommel married Eli Reece in Surry on 13 Nov 1817, Daniel Reece, bm. She could be connected to William.
- Celia Crumel married John Norman 25 Nov 1829 in Surry, John Cassaday, bm.
- John Crumel married Elizabeth Evans in Surry on 5 Apr 1838, Emanuel Alspaug, bm. In 1840 John Cromwell (1810/20) was on the census in Surry also, but not listed near William.
- A theory comes to mind. Daniel Reece & Sarah Crommel in 1820 had a large family. Perhaps she was a widow Cromwell and mother to William, John and Celia. Just a thought, no actual evidence of this yet, though William did name his oldest child Sarah.
