Order for sale - Whereas David CAMPBELL and Apsley CAMPBELL,
administrators of Estate of Hugh CAMPBELL, decd, having made known to me
the necessity of selling the perishible property of said Estate and duly
considered the same I decree as follows. You are hereby authorized after
giving 15 days notice to sell ath the late residence of the decd, all the
personal propery except the negroes on these condiitions viz. All sums of
& Under five dollars cash, all above that amt on a credit to the 1st of
October next with Int fromd ate. Notes with approved security required.

In the name of God Amen, I Apsaley Campbell of the State of South Carolina Marion District being admonished by the infermity of my body that my earthly existance may soon Close yet being of sound mind and desireing to dispose of such worldly estate as it has please God to bless me with do on this the seventh day of December anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and fifty three make, constitute and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form following vis First my will is that all my Just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my personal property, Secondly I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Mary F. Breeden my negro man Jake my negro girl Flora and negro girl Sally and one bed and furniture, I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Jacabina Breeden my negro woman Dina and her child Harrison and boy Calvin and also one bed and furniture, Thirdly I give and bequeath to my Daughter Adaline Breeden all my estate both real and Personal of every kind and description for her use and benefit during her natural life and at her death to be Subject to such Distributions as is herein after made yet that She may not dispose of it in any way or for any purpose nor Shall it or any portion of it be Subject to any execution for any debt which she or her husband may contract but that she shall the use and benefit of it during her natural life only, and at her death all my real estate I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Mary F. Breeded and Jacabine Breeden and any other child or children born of the body of my Daughter Adaline Breeden which She may hereafter have to be equally divided between Sharing equal and alike, Fourthly, my will is and I so dispose and ordain that if my Daughter Adaline Shall have other children or child than those above mentioned namely Mary F. And Jacabina I give and bequeath to such child or children all my personal estate not given and bequeathed to the said Mary F. and Jacabina but Should the Balance of my personal estate vis my negro woman Grace and her children Lucy, Harry and Huldy and Lenard and Daniel all other Personal Property of every kind not herein before disposed exceed in value that which I have left and bequeathed to the said Mary F. and Jacabina then that the said Mary F. and Jacabina Shall of such excess receive a portion of the same making their several Shares equal and alike and Should my Said daughter have no such child or children then and that case, I give and bequeath the estate aforesaid to the Mary F. and Jacabina at their mother's death,--and lastly I nominate and ordain my brother William S Bethea my Executor to this my last will and Testament In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand to this my last will on the day and in the year first above written Signed and Published as and for the Apsley Campbell Last will and Testament of Apsaley Campbell in Presence of Malcom Stafford John C.
