“In Memory of Mrs. Dollie Bradley Hensley---Dollie Bradley Hensley, born to John and Lucinda Bradley on July 25, 1875, passed away at 9:30 on Tuesday morning, June 26, 1945. She was married to Henry Thomas Hensley, who preceded her to the grave thirty years ago.
To this union were born seven children: Bertha, Lee, Vinnie, Annie, Fred, Perrian and Clarence. Annie and Clarence preceded her to the grave in early childhood; Perrian in young manhood.
She leaves, besides the four children, ten grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Patty of Chattanooga and Mrs. Tony Giles of Vonore Route 3, and one brother, Mr. Ben Bradley, Vonore Route 3.
She joined the Ball Play Baptist Church in early girlhood, where her membership remained.
Her body was brought from Howard-Henderson Hospital to the home of her son, Fred, where it remained until the following day, and was laid to rest in the Ball Play Cemetery, Rev. Edward Ransome conducting the service, the Lawson Quartet singing. Her nieces were flower girls; her nephews were pallbearers.”
