MULLINS, MARION COUNTY, SC
Terry Lee Turner, 48, died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Bon Secours
Hospice at St. Marys Hospital in Richmond, Va. after an extended
illness.
He was born February 29, 1960 in Mullins, a son of Bernice Stroud
Rohr and the late Carson Lee Buck Turner. Terry was a graduate of
Green Sea-Floyds High School. He was an avid supporter and worker for
the Wheelchair Olympic Games. He was a member of Faith Landmark
Church in Richmond, Va.
Surviving Terry are: his Mother: Bernice Stroud Rohr of Mullins; a
Brother: Greg Turner and his wife Nancy of Thibodaux, Louisiana; a
Sister: Michelle Fowler and her husband Doug of Mullins; 2 nieces:
Jennifer and Stacy Fowler; 4 Uncles; 2 Aunts; 5 Great Aunts; and a
host of cousins.
Terry was predeceased by his maternal Grandparents, A.B. Burnis
Stroud and Sally Emanuel Stroud; his paternal Grandmother, Gladys
Turner; 4 Great Aunts; and 4 Great Uncles.
Graveside services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 29 at
Calvary Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Glenn Ailshie
officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral
Home.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 til 8 P.M. at Cox-
Collins Funeral Home.
