- !NOTE:Marriage record gives maiden name as Armstrong, but their son Ray says "Ammons". Ray shared a certified copy of the marriage (dated 1989) which does show her as "Ammons", so did I find "Armstrong" on the original marriage register in Swain County, or is it from a transcribed version in the "Bone Rattler"?
