Sawyer, Lula MaeMULLINS -- Miss Lula Mae Sawyer, 86, died Saturday, April 26, 2003, atMullins Nursing Center after an illness.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 28 at the Chapel ofCox-Collins Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Kirkland officiating. Burialwill follow in McMillan Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.Miss Sawyer was born June 24, 1916, in Marion County, a daughter of the lateJack and Lula Nora Turner Sawyer. Miss Sawyer had retired as a secretary forthe S.C. Commissioner of Agriculture. She was a member of Mullins FirstBaptist Church, where she was a member of the Crusader Sunday School class.Miss Sawyer is survived by several nieces and nephews.Memorials may be made to Mullins First Baptist Church, P.O.
