COLLINS age 0-4 (1835/40); !CENSUS:1850 Marion Dist, SC # 273 Franklin COLLINS, 14 (1835/36) born Marion; !CENSUS:1860; !CIVIL WAR:For the Civil War, Frank Collins, served as a Private in 26th Regiment Infantry. He was also listed as a Corporal as "F. A. Collins". I'm assuming that F. A. and Frank are the same person, and that he was promoted from the ranks. He was reported as dying at Mount Pleasant.
