!NOTES:I don't have direct proof that Robert & Silas are sons of Thomas Davis (c1791), but it seems very likely:
1. They were Thomas's neighbors in 1850 and 1860.
2. Thomas's 1840 census household was the only one in Burke with apparent sons listed who match both them age-wise.
3. Norman Davis also thinks this is the case and he has researched these Davis's far more than I have.;
