Cathey" and "Jain Boyd", info given by her son William H. Patterson. Can't imagine why he got that wrong, as he would have known both his grandparents personally, in fact he was named for his grandfather William H. Cathey.
There never was a couple named Jo. Cathey and Jane Boyd as far as I can determine.;
