!OBIT:BRITTON'S NECK | Mr. Dayton Earl Richardson, 89, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005
at home after an illness.
Mr. Richardson was born in Marion County, a son of the late Waitus
Richardson and Rachel Ann Richardson. He is predeceased by his wife of 66 years,
Thelma Richardson, and sons Cecil Lavern Richardson and Waitus Clayton Richardson,
and brother Aubrey Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a loving husband, devoted
father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a farmer and an avid
hunter.
Surviving are three sons, Cranston Earl Richardson, Dayton Earl Richardson
Jr., Clayton Jerome Richardson, all of Britton's Neck; four daughters, Annette
Eunice Cox of Florence, Glenda Faye Ramirez of Germany, Joyce Louise
Brayfield of Mullins and Riesa Annette Richardson of Socastee; special family
friend, Gene Wilson; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great
grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 at
Anthony Richardson Cemetery. The family received friends Monday, Oct. 31, 2005
from 6 to 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
