  !NOTES:Marty Grant's 6th Great Grand Aunt, if she is a child of William & Mary Sams. She may be a grandchild instead, which would make her my 1st cousin 7 times removed; !REFERENCE: http://martygrant.com/genealogy/sams/sams-william-henry-va.html !NOTES:I have no proof that Hannah Sams is a child of William & Mary, however: Pros: 1. She fits nowhere else as far as I can tell. 2. Her son John Callahan married a daughter of Benjamin Dugger who was a neighbor of the Sams in Virginia. 3. Her birth ca 1768 is perfect to be a child of William & Mary, perhaps their youngest. Cons: 1. The name "Hannah" was not used among the early Sams in William's family as far as I've seen. However, it was used in the Edward Sams family. 2. I've seen no actual proof that Hannah Callahan Dobbins was a Sams. What is the proof of her maiden name? 3.
