I believe this to be the same John Hensley who is buried in the Hensley family cemetary off Spivey Mt. Road (left jus before Mt. Dale Church and Little Bald Creek Road) located near the Unicoi, TN and Yancey, NC county line.
This headstone reads:

On the 1920 Census for Unicoi Co,. Civil District 8, an 80 year old male (name illegible) is listed in Robert B. Hensley's household. I conclude this is John.
The informant on the above death certificate, R. B. Hensley, I believe to be the Robert B. Hensley who appears on the 1910 Census for Unicoi Co., Civil District 8
