Reighard Ruth, Ruth Matheson Reighard, age 95, of Willow Springs Road, Dallas, GA, died Sat., March 26, 2005 at her daughter's residence in Gainesville, FL. A native of Cherokee County, N.C. she was the daughter of the late Joe and Arzelia Wright Matheson. Mrs. Reighard was a homemaker and resided in Topton, N.C. until moving to Atlanta, G.A. in 1953. She moved to Dallas, G.A. from Atlanta in 1974. She was the oldest member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the banjo, collecting clocks, working in her gar-den, growing flowers and loved telling stories to her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Ernest W. Reighard of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Sonny and Margaret Rcighard of Topton, N.C. and Dr. Ike and Robin Reighard of Pow-der Springs, G.A.; two daughters, Ramona Griffith and husband Jimmy of Dallas, G.A. and Judy McLemore of Gainesville, F.L,; one brother, Floyd Matheson of Ventura, CA; one sister, Glata Lee of Longview, W.A.; Twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren and several neices and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held at 7:30 p.m. on March 29 at the Townson Rose Chapel in Andrews, N.C., her son, Dr. Ike Reighard, officiated.
