DAVIS M. "BUCK" RICHARDSON
Davis M. "Buck" Richardson, 89, died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Carolinas Hospital of Marion. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Richardson Funeral Home. Visitation will follow at the funeral home.
Mr. Richardson was born in Horry County, a son of the late George and Patty Bell Flowers Richardson. Also, he is preceded in death by a sister, Katie LeGette, and brothers George Richardson, Jr., Woodrow Richardson, and Bliss Richardson. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in Iwo Jima and New Caledonia. Mr. Richardson was an avid motorcycle rider, having ridden well into his 70's. Once, he was able to fit 4 friends and himself on his motorcycle from Mullins to Ariel's Crossroad. He was member of Ariel Baptist Church. Mr. Richardson was a retired carpenter.
Surviving are sisters, Alma Louise Jenkins of Florence; brother, Traywick Earl Richardson of Myrtle Beach; and many nieces and nephews.
