Trilba Wright Trammel, 79, of Forest City and formerly of Macon County, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010.
She was a native of Macon County, but moved to Asheville in 1965. She retired in 1999 after 22 years with Kearfott Guidance and Navigation in Black Mountain. Trilba was a member of Aquone Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Richard and Maggie Jones Wright.
Surviving are three sons, Roger Dale Trammel of Robbinsville, Douglas Wayne Trammel of Spindale, and David Lee Trammel of Nantahala; a sister, Irene Salmon of Alabama; a brother, Frank Wright of Asheville; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m Friday, Oct. 1, in Aquone Baptist Church with the Rev. S.J. Waters officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Ricky and Ron Trammel, Gary and Donald Cross, Sidney May and Ray Evans.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews.
