* Moses Grimes in Wilkes had three sons under 16 (1774/84). That could be Jeffrey, Lewis and John;

Ordered by the court that John Grimes, the son Moses Grimes be bound unto Reuben Parkes till he attains the age of 21 years old now aged 4 years.
This record may indicate that Moses was dead by then.
