6. Benjamin STEWART m. (bond Aug 16, 1769) Elizabeth Winscott, in Rowan Co.. She was an orphan & married with the consent of Abraham Carson. The sureties were Isaiah STEWART & Matthew Bailey.
Land : Benjamin was given with brother Joseph equal share of the home place by their father's will 1768.
May 9, 1775 Benjamin STEWART of Surry Co. sold to Matthew Brooks for f25 124 A on the Yadkin River part of a tract of 508 A which had been granted by Lord Granville to Samuel STEWART (deeds A:169).
Benjamin removed from Surry County before 1790.
