I (Marty Grant) am not related to Isham Watson as far as I know.
Isham Watson was born "1787" per his tombstone. This generally agrees with his census records, 1850 and 1860 which give his age as 62 and 72, or born ca 1787/88. The Isham Watson Family Bible gives birth dates for his wife and for their children, but for some reason does not list his own birth date, nor his parents names.
Isham Watson a proven son of Barnabas Watson and Elizabeth Smith, as named in Barnabas's Probate records. Isham was also named in the estate records of his grandfather John Smith (died 1802) proving he was from Barnabas' first marriage.
Isham Meredith seems to have been home with his parents for the 1790 census aged "under 16" (born ca 1774/90), and still home in 1800 (age 10-15, born ca 1784/90).
Isham did not appear to be home with his parents for the 1810 census. This could be because he had just married Mary Hayes prior to the census. I have a marriage date of 15 Feb 1810 (from their Family Bible). She was a daughter of John Hayes and Ann Berry (maiden name per Sellers). She was born 24 Aug 1792 (per Family Bible).
Isham and Mary may have been living with other relatives in 1810, and that is why they are not listed on the 1810 census. They do not appear to be with John Hayes that year.
Isham Watson was listed on the 1811 Marion tax list, and taxed 45 cents.
Isham Watson was listed on the 1814 Marion tax list, and taxed $1.55.
Isham was listed on the 1820 census in Marion District. Unfortunately this census is alphabetical, so I can't tell who their neighbors were.

Mary Hayes Watson died 10 Dec 1862, and Isham Watson died on 30 Oct 1864. They are both buried at Antioch Cemetery in Marion County.
Isham and Mary had 14 children as proven by an Equity Record (Roll # 302) and also by a Family Bible Record (which gave many birth, death and marriage dates). The Equity record names William Watson, Matthew H. Watson, James Watson, Isham H. Watson, Samuel Watson, Nancy Allen wife of Joel Allen, Jane Mace wife of John M. Mace, Mary Legette wife of James B. Legette, Druscilla Berry wife of F. Berry, Fama Jones wife of Frederick, and Robert Reaves and Mary E. Reaves children of daughter Elizabeth by George W. Reaves, their next friend. (Roll # 302, "Marion County South Carolina Extracts from Equity Rolls", by Lucille Utley)
David Watson was born 3 Dec 1811 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC. He was apparently home in 1820 (age "under 10", born ca 1810/20). David died 16 Nov 1823 (per Family Bible) or 16 Dec 1823 per Tombstone. David is buried at Antioch Cemetery near his parents. His tombstone lists him as a son of Isham and Mary.
Matthew H. Watson was born 12 Sep 1813 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC.

Nancy Watson was born 20 Jul 1817 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC. She was apparently home in 1820 (age "under 10", born ca 1810/20). She was apparently home in 1830, aged 10-14 (1815/20). She did not seem to be at home in 1840, so probably married by then.
Nancy Watson married Rev. Joel Allen sometime before 1840. I did not find them on the 1840 census.

Penelope Watson was born 14 Jul 1819 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC. The Family Bible record gives her name as "Penelope", but her tombstone gives "Ellen W." as her name. Sellers referred to her as "Nellie", which is a semi-common nickname for "Penelope", and "Eleanor" (which "Ellen" is often used in place of).
She was apparently home in 1820 (age "under 10", born ca 1810/20). She was apparently home in 1830, aged 10-14 (1815/20), and apparently home in 1840 (age 20-29, born ca 1810/20).
Penelope Watson married a Frank A. Berry in 1839. He was born 22 Feb 1820.
Penelope died on 9 Jul 1840 in childbirth. She is buried at Antioch Cemetery. Her widowed husband married her sister Drusilla nearly 30 years later.
Isham H. Watson was born 13 May 1821 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC.

Elizabeth Watson was born 2 Jul 1823 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC. She was apparently home in 1830 (age 5-9, born ca 1820/25). She was apparently still home in 1840, aged 15-19 (1820/25).
Elizabeth married George W. Reaves sometime before ca 1846.

Elizabeth died on 7 Aug 1860 and is buried at Harrington Cemetery in Marion County.
George married again (to Emma R. ---) and he died on 21 Feb 1896, and is also buried at Harrington Cemetery, as is his second wife Emma.
Samuel Watson was born 6 Oct 1825 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC.

Mary Watson was born 7 Dec 1827 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC. She was apparently home in 1830 (age "under 5, born ca 1825/30). She was apparently still home in 1840, aged 10-14 (1825/30).
She married James B. Legette before ca 1850. I did not find them on the 1850 or 1860 census records. They must have moved out of Marion County. They were "back" by 1870 and listed in Bethea Township. ** I don't have this entry typed up yet.
James B. Legette died on 30 Sep 1879 and is buried at Antioch Cemetery.
Mary was listed as head of household on the 1880 census. ** I don't have this entry typed up yet.
Mary died on 6 Jul 1919 and is buried at Antioch Cemetery.
William Watson was born 7 Oct 1829 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC. He was apparently home in 1830 (age "under 5", born ca 1825/30). He was apparently still home in 1840, aged 10-14 (1825/30). He was home with his parents in 1850 ("William" age 20).
William Watson married Cherry Deer on 22 Feb 1852 (per her Widow's Pension application, published in Pee Dee Queue Volume XV, No 2, March - April 1991). Cherry was born 19 Jan 1830 (per tombstone), daughter of Joseph Deer and Mary Catherine Page.
William and family were listed on the 1860 census in Marion District.

Drusilla Watson was born 16 Nov 1830 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC. She was apparently home with her parents in 1840, aged 5-9 (1830/35). She was home with her parents in 1850 ("Virzilla" age 19, born Marion), and in 1860 ("Zillah" age 29).
Drusilla married her widowed brother-in-law Frank A. Berry sometime prior to 1865 in Marion District.

Euphemia "Fama" Watson was born 9 Mar 1832 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC. She was apparently home with her parents in 1840, aged 5-9 (1830/35). She was home with her parents in 1850 ("Fama" age 18, born Marion).
Fama married Stephen C. Berry (son of Henry Berry and Charity Crawford) before 1859.
He died on 2 Jul 1859, and is buried at Berry Cemetery in Marion County.
Fama was listed with her parents on the 1860 census ("Fanny Berry" age 27). Apparently she and Mr. Berry had no children.

Euphemia Watson Berry Jones died on 11 Aug 1898, and her husband Frederick Jones died on 28 Sep 1895. They are buried at Antioch Cemetery.
Sarah Watson was born 9 Aug 1833 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC. She was apparently home with her parents in 1840, aged 5-9 (1830/35). She died on 31 Aug 1841 and is buried at Antioch Cemetery.
Jane Watson was born 26 Feb 1835 (per Family Bible) in Marion District, SC. She was apparently home with her parents in 1840, aged 5-9 (1830/35), and home in 1850 ("Jane" age 16).
Jane married John M. Mace in the 1850's. He was a son of Moses Mace and Druscilla Miles.
